Fall in New York is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cooler weather and all the
gorgeous fall colors. There are so many fun things to do. Here're some that my family likes best.
gathering fall leaves
picking apples
choosing pumpkins
picking gourds
browsing and buying at the local street fairs
celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving
Last weekend one of our sons and his girlfriend went pumpkin and gourd picking. They
came home with a car filled with some wonderful things. Here's a picture of one of the
displays I made with some of the things they gathered.
